“Hello, my name is Janet Killingsworth. Welcome to our website, I hope you take some time to look around at the various parts to discover why I am so proud of our firm. I have been practicing as a CPA in Metro-Atlanta since 1985. We are a CPA firm that offers personalized accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals. We are also your neighbors in Roswell and we care about the community as much as you do. I founded Killingsworth CPA, P.C. in 2001 to serve our clients with a high level of service to business owners and those individual taxpayers who seek the level of trust and confidence from a team of senior-level CPAs and other professionals. I wanted from the beginning to be able to make certain that our clients have at least a senior level CPA looking after their account so that they have the confidence in knowing they are well cared for. In 2017, I asked Lynn Spencer to become an equity partner as our business began to grow rapidly over the past couple of years. We formed Killingsworth Spencer, LLC to become the marketing arm of the practice. We will continue to roll out additional services that our clients are asking us to deliver on their behalf.
PARTNER: Lynn Spencer
All clients have challenges that are unique to their individual situations. I am passionate about our firm serving these essentials and providing clarity and confidence to each. My goal is to make sure that all our clients know we are partners dedicated to their success, and that all feel well served by Killingsworth Spencer.
My background begins with a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. While in college, I was an Administrative Assistant for an international benefits and consulting firm and stayed on as a Retirement Benefits Specialist after graduation. Upon marrying a U.S. Navy sailor, I got
the value of experience in different fields as we moved to new duty stations. I worked for regional bank in Human Resources in Connecticut, co-managed a Temp Agency in New York, and managed a large Marina in Washington State, all before having children and then choosing to Home School them, leading
to many volunteer opportunities in my community through those years.
Homeschooling, community involvement, and the different work experiences made a natural path to Partnership as CFOO with Janet Killingsworth soon after joining her firm as an admin in 2015. I encourage all to live each moment to the fullest; one seldom knows what opportunities lie in our

I have been a CPA practicing in Atlanta since the early 80’s. I have a degree in accounting from The University of Tennessee. My areas of expertise include tax and working with small business owners. I also do estate tax returns (706) and gift tax returns (709). When not working I like to play guitar in a cover band with other friends who also want to retain their youth.
Hey there, I am Andrea Altman. I have a BS in Accounting from State University of New York at New Paltz. I started my public accounting career in 1994 after moving south (for good) to Atlanta. I have 25 years’ experience in payroll and payroll taxes, sales tax, QuickBooks, corporate, partnership and individual taxation. In my off time I enjoy traveling, gardening, venturing to new restaurants (and then trying to replicate the better dishes at home), reading, and spending time with my cats.
Hi, my name is Mary Nadler, and I am the new Bookkeeping professional here at Killingsworth Spencer. I have been involved in the accounting and bookkeeping profession for over 25 years and I love working with numbers. I especially like to help our clients be able to make better financial decisions when they have up-to-date books and records. I grew up in Cape Cod, MA, and I love the Ocean. Yes, the water is always cold, and I am a Patriot’s fan. I must admit that I prefer the warmer waters of the Gulf of Mexico. I love music (especially Fleetwood Mac and I have seen them live at least ten times), travel, movies, reading, and a good steak. I have a 26-year-old daughter and we still enjoy spending time together when we can.
I am an Office Administrator here at Killingsworth Spencer since 2017. Working here, my knowledge and interest in the tax field has grown. I am grateful for the tremendous opportunity I have had to meet many Atlanta-area entrepreneurs and the broad glimpse into small business and how it makes our local economy tick.
I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I grew up competing in gymnastics from an early age and believe that experience helps me in my day-to-day duties here at Killingsworth Spencer. In 2012, my family and I relocated to Milton, Georgia.
I am currently pursuing a degree at Georgia State University. Here at Killingsworth Spencer, I use my desire to help clients and enjoy being able to serve every person that walks through the door or calls us on the phone.
Judy Bernhard, CPA heads up our tax resolution department. She is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. She is a graduate of LSU with a degree in Accounting, along with an MBA. She also taught accounting classes at LSU. She became licensed as a CPA in 1985. She has been with Killingsworth Spencer since 2005. She works with clients on their business and personal tax returns and she is the person you want on your team when there is an accounting mess to clean up. She fights for her clients rights the same way she would for a family member. She is blunt and “to the point”, but when clients see the results of her efforts when she’s working to solve their tax debt, they understand this attitude gets RESULTS.
Mason Hardin, EA is a local, from Marietta, GA. A graduate of GA State College and University with a degree in Accounting. He has been with Killingsworth Spencer since 2017, and he became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in 2018. Mason does taxes for small business and individuals. Judy discovered his unique talent for IRS tax resolution when he helped her with a difficult case soon after he started with Killingsworth Spencer. Judy and the other firm Principal’s encouraged Mason to finish his EA program so he could take on a more active role in the tax resolution department.
I am an Office Administrator and Payroll Administrator here at Killingsworth Spencer. Currently, I am pursuing a college degree at Georgia State University on scholarship.
Hello, I am Geirson Bejarano, and I have been working with taxes and accounting for over 10 years, and I love what I do for a living. Being here at Killingsworth Spencer is like a dream come true for me, but I do have a life besides work. I am married and have a 17 year old son in his senior year who will be attending GA Southern University in the Fall.
I like watching movies at home with my wife and cooking when I get the time to do so. I am not the best cook but at least my wife likes it. I love watching and practicing sports, like soccer, tennis, and golf. I have a high handicap and get frustrated every time I play, but I Love the game. I enjoy cycling and hiking. I also like making plans to go out to a bar with family and friends to watch a football or soccer game.
Halli is a junior at Kennesaw State University. She is working towards her BBA in Management. After working on a special filing project for Killingsworth Spencer in summer 2020, she was hired as a bookkeeping and administrative intern in December 2020. Before Killingsworth Spencer, she worked on-campus at KSU for two years. She is very excited to broaden her accounting and management skills through working with the staff here and to take on the bookkeeping duties for several of the firm’s amazing clients.
